Market for Food

OUR STORY
Tali Goldman, founder and CEO of Market for Good, is a wife and the mother of two beautiful children. She is passionate about making the world a better place and committed to make a difference in people’s lives. Market for Good is a unique platform designed for social and environmental organisations, providing them a free stage to offer their products, services, and experiences. Companies that would like to spend responsibly, offset the carbon emission of orders, and promote a social or environmental cause, can find in Market for Good gifts, experiences and services that meet their needs and are contributing to a good cause of their choice. The idea to have all social and environmental organisations under one platform came to promote these organisations’ visibility and financial sustainability, and to make their products and services accessible by creating a wider array of products, services, and experiences for customers to choose from. The platform empowers these organisations by digitalizing their processes, creating digital versions of their products and services , and automating their sales and operations. Market for Good provides buyers with a summary of all their purchases, detailing their contribution to social and environmental causes, and the carbon emissions created in each order. Every purchase in Market for Good comes with a certificate of contribution that details the social causes that were supported and the way the contribution was made. We are so delighted to bring this wonderful platform to you where you can meet your procurement needs, contribute towards a social cause, and monitor and report your contribution and the impact it makes. Welcome to a new business culture where every purchase has a purpose.
Rashi Jaipuriyar is the COO and Head of Creative in Market for Good. She has been a member of the management team since 2019. Rashi trained as a product designer and worked with many international brands in developing designs for close to a decade. Her passion for preserving traditional crafting techniques and for working with the local community to drive impact, has been her major source of motivation. She believes that people are a force for good and that the community is a source of support. This is what inspired her to join the team. Rashi designed the Market for Good platform, and this has been a personally fulfilling experience for her. The design she created is inspired by the soft colors of nature, seashores, shades of blue and green of water and vegetation, as well as soft yellow and grey, inspired by sand and seashells. The logo she created, puts together our beneficiaries (social organizations), and our customers (corporates) as two fingerprints that join together and form a pair of butterfly wings. This symbolizes the uniqueness of every corporate, its values, and its culture, and the uniqueness of every social organization and the millions of supported beneficiaries. Using a digital platform to connect corporates to beneficiaries, Market for Good offers a solution for corporate ESG needs and provides empowerment to beneficiaries, creating a sustainable source of income for them, represented in the logo by the butterfly wings. Rashi believes that the responsibility to do good and contribute to the community lies with each one of us. We should all set an example of resilience and compassion for one another and for future generations. Only if we do that, we can create sustainable impact and live a meaningful life.

SHIRLEY

Born in the Netherlands my interest in other cultures and fascination for nature led me to live in Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey. I have been so fortunate to experience so many more counties, connecting with people from all over the world. I was raised hands-on in the hospitality industry anticipating customer needs is my second nature. However I pursued my education and career in the dynamic fashion business, where all worlds collide. I started in Sales selling children collections which taught me the art of collection build up, pricing and negotiation. Over the next 19 years I continued to deepen my interest in the business via product development for a global brand to bringing 12 collections to market as division manager for a High Street fashion retailer. Strategic planning, brand management, always looking for creative solutions and to think on my feet are just a view of the exciting aspects in this colourful fast moving business. Looking into the kitchen of ever faster moving fashion made me realise that it needed to be done differently, not only more sustainable but also fair. The break to rethink my career and find other ways of creating meaning coincided with our move to Turkey. Today I am connecting with my clients as a Pilates instructor in Singapore. My love for beautifully made products and fair business directed me to Market for Good.I am passionate about restoring balance and encouraging growth in all aspects of modern life. Currently living with my beautiful family in a cottage nested in green with the cosmopolitan city at reach. The best of both worlds, to appease my curiosity, my love for nature, connection and new experiences. I am known as an advocate for impactful deliberate daily choices in order to protect and restore worlds beautiful habitats and promote equal rights and opportunities. My motto: the key to a better FUTURE is YOU.
